2. IS ON SITE parking available
Yes. There’s plenty of available on-site parking, including allocated spaces for people with disabilities.
However, ATPSL encourages all tenants and visitors to ATP to catch public transport.
If you need to drive, spaces are located on Locomotive Street, directly in front of Bays 8, 4 and 16 of the Locomotive Workshops and outside the Biomedical Building on Central Avenue.
Parking fees are as follows:First half hour $6.00 ½-1 hour $12.00 1-3 hours $20.00 3+ hours $30.00 (Max daily rate) Lost Tickets $30.00
Please note Pay Stations accept $20, $10, $5 notes and $2, $1, 50c, 20c, 10c coins and payment by credit card.
Pay stations are located at:
- 8 Central Avenue at the rear lift
- outside the Biodmedical Building
- Bay 4 Atrium (inside the Locomotive Workshops)
- Bay 8 Atrium (inside the Locomotive Workshops)
To gain access to the disabled parking area, please contact the security office on 9209 4666 or advise security at the boom gate when you first enter the Park.
Monthly parking rates for tenants
Monthly parking rates are available for tenants.
Onsite outdoor parking is $165 + gst per month
Secure underground parking is $280 + gst per month.
3.Is the ATP accessible by public transport?
Yes. The Park is accessible by train, bus, bicycle and taxi.
We encourage all visitors travelling to and from the ATP to catch public transport.

The Park is a five-minute walk from Redfern Station. Simply leave Redfern Station via the platform 10 exit and follow the signs.
Bus routes 310 & 309 travel straight out of Sydney’s CBD to the ATP, via Central Station. 308 also travels to ATP. Alight at the nearest bus stop and walk the short distance to ATP.
Bicycle racks are located at Bay 4, Bay 16, 8 Central Ave and the Biomedical Building.
Taxis enter via the Garden Street / Boundary Street entrance, which is accessible from Henderson Road. Ask your driver to drop you at the Park’s main entrance, located at Bay 8 of the Locomotive Workshops on Locomotive Street.

4. Is the ATP open to the public?
Yes. We encourage all members of the public to come and experience the Australian Technology Park. The Park’s standard business hours are 8.30am through to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).
5. How close is the nearest accomodation?

6. How do I locate a tenant at the ATP?
Electronic information kiosks are available in bays 3 and 8 of the Locomotive Workshop and provide full visitor information, events details and easy-to-follow directions at the touch of a button.

7. Is there catering available?
The ATP Conference and Events Centre offers a wide selection of catering options, ranging from simple snacks and cocktails through to exotic five-star dining experiences. Simply contact the Events team on 9209 4220 for more details.
8. What security services does the Park provide?
The Park is equipped with a state-of-the-art security and access control system, allowing surveillance of all activity in and around the Park, including closed circuit television monitoring, alarms and motion detection systems. Dedicated staff patrol the Park 24 hours a day, seven days a week and access to every secure area is only available via Smartcard technology.
9.What services are available to the public?
The Park features four fantastic on-site cafés:
The DCM Cafe in the Biomedical Building;
Funki Chino in the NIC Building;
Sette in Media City;
Bytes in Bay 8; and
The Last Stop in Bay 16 of the Locomotive Workshop.
All cafés offer a great selection of fresh food and beverages, both hot and cold, and are open for breakfast and lunch.
An ATM is located in Bay 8 of the Locomotive Workshop and public phones are available in Bay 8 of the Locomotive Workshop and the National Innovation Centre.
Australia Post mail boxes are located outside Bay 8.
Tennis courts, basketball courts and BBQs are available for all to use. Contact Park Security on (02) 9209 4666 to book a court and/or a BBQ.
10. What technical facilities are available?
The Park’s Conference & Exhibition Centre is surrounded by leading IT providers and can offer a 100 percent wireless infrastructure and comprehensive technical support network. We have the experience, equipment and expertise, including an in-house audio-visual production team, to fulfil even the most demanding client requirements.

12. Where is the ATP and how do I get there?
The Australian Technology Park is located on the site of what was originally the Eveleigh Railway Yards and is a short walk from Redfern Train Station in Sydney.
The Park's Management offices are located on Level 2 of Bay 4 in the Locomotive Workshops and are accessible via the Garden Street entrance off Henderson Road in Redfern.
