Pedestrian safety

The ATP has started a program of work to help pedestrians walk more safely through park grounds, as part of a broader traffic management plan.

The work includes installing more shared zone signs, plus traffic calming devices to slow motor vehicles and bicycles, and a pedestrian crossing on Central Avenue. A fence dividing Mitchell Way and the car park has already been removed.

Please help our efforts to improve pedestrian safety by reminding colleagues and visitors that the ATP site is a shared zone, with a speed limit of 10 kilometres per hour.

First aid room

A first aid room is now available for all tenants to use in Bay 3. Anyone who needs to access the room should contact ATP Security on 9209 4666 or Management on 9209 4220, so that a first aid officer can provide appropriate assistance.

First aid training

The ATP in partnership with Surf Lifesaving NSW is offering a Senior First Aid and Defibrillation course on the following Mondays: 8 June, 13 July, 10 August, 14 September, 12 October, 9 November and 14 December 2009.

The course costs $130 per person and provides initial training or requalification for first aid officers. Surf Lifesaving NSW is a registered training organisation that delivers nationally recognised WorkCover-approved first aid training, covering any first aid accreditation requirements of your workplace.

In addition to facilitating your training and equipment needs, all revenue generated through the courses goes back to supporting the Surf Lifesaving movement.

Please contact Bill O’Reilly, Property Services Manager, on 9209 4482 to make a booking.
