The ATP community came together in May to take part in the annual Cancer Council fundraising event, Australia's Biggest Morning Tea.
Tenants gave generously on the day, with funds raised matched dollar-for-dollar by ATP Precinct Management Ltd.
We are delighted to report that the ATP has since donated $1,365 in total toward the Cancer Council’s 2009 fundraising goal of $11 million.
Thank you to everyone who was stirred to action for this cause. With one in two Australians diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85, public donations help to support much-needed research, prevention, education and awareness initiatives.
On the subject of good deeds, please also give a big hand to Consult Point CEO Alex Gelman and Elcom Technology CEO John Anstey. Alex and John were among 220 CEOs who rose to the challenge of homelessness by sleeping out at Luna Park in June, as part of the St Vincent de Paul Society's CEO Sleepout.
Congratulations to both on personally helping the society to raise over $616,000 toward services for the homeless.
