GUEST RELATIONS OFFICER
Fuji Xerox
At work ... my role is to consistently support internal and external customers, through managing and coordinating the customer experience at the Fuji Xerox epicentre, whether it be for a demonstration, meeting or event. I’m a key contact for customers who require engagements hosted within the epicentre. A core responsibility of my role is to ensure the continuity of the entire customer engagement process from booking facilities, providing demonstration resources and offering hospitality, through to the close of engagement. Another part of my role is largely based on administration duties.
My first job ... was working at a small real-estate business as a property manager assistant. I became the property manager after a couple of years. In total, I was there for around four years. I learnt all the tricks of the trade. Unfortunately, the business went bust and my career took a turn, which wasn’t too bad for me: tenants and landlords can be such a pain!
My favourite part of the park ... is the Blacksmith’s Workshop. In a place that is so dynamic and business-orientated, I love the history and the rawness of it all.
An influence that shaped my life ... is the unconditional love that I have had.
The place where I grew up ... I grew up between Australia and Lebanon. I have been lucky enough to be inspired greatly by experiencing firsthand extremely different eastern and western cultures. I have so many fond memories of summertime in Lebanon, when every day was an adventure, and we never stayed home to watch television or play video games like most kids these days. The Lebanese live in a community environment and they look after each other, which also means you couldn’t run amok because everyone knew you and your mum found out in no time at all!
My best choice ... has been the choice to be conscious of the world I live in and how I affect the people in my life.
My worst choice ... I honestly can’t think of one. That is, unless you call singing karaoke with my voice a bad choice!
If I could wave a magic wand ... I’d remove any form of money from this world and give equality to all.
The highlight of my week ... is meeting up with family and friends for laughs.
My burning ambition ... is to travel the world and be a freelance photographer. I want to capture truth: the joys and pain of people in time.
