Stalls at Eveleigh Farmers’ Market are now loaded with tasty spring fruit and veges.
Nectarines, peaches, oranges, lemons, plums, strawberries, broad beans, broccoli, mushrooms, leafy Asian greens, rhubarb, potatoes, tomatoes and more are in season and on sale.
Over 3,000 food lovers visit Eveleigh every Saturday morning, knowing they will be able to buy the freshest local produce sourced from NSW and the ACT.
The weekly fare also includes meat, poultry, cheese, eggs, bread and gourmet products.
Market organisers are working hard to make sure you continue to enjoy a constant supply of fresh food. Throughout October, they are holding workshops for producers based within a four-hour radius of Sydney – in the Hunter Valley, Nowra, Orange and Western Sydney – in collaboration with The Rocks Farmers’ Market.
The workshops are designed to encourage more regional farmers to get involved in selling their produce direct to you.
And don’t forget Eveleigh Artisans’ Market on the first Sunday of every month, giving talented artists and designers the chance to showcase their work. It’s the place to go to find an inspired gift – or a special creation just for you.
Farmers' Market: every Saturday, 8 am to 1 pm
Artisans' Market: first Sunday of the month, 10 am to 3 pm
