The Channel 7 studio and office complex is nearing completion with the finishing touches being made. 

Channel 7 employees will begin relocating to the new building at 8 Central Avenue in January 2010.

“This is a great vote of confidence by Channel 7 and its partner companies in the exciting future of the Redfern Waterloo area and the ATP,” Managing Director of the ATP Roy Wakelin-King said.

By the end of January 2010, approximately 1,200 employees from Channel 7, Pacific Magazines and Global Television will be based at the building, which has a capacity for a further 800 employees. 

“This will enhance the atmosphere around ATP from what is already a vibrant and creative environment,” Roy Wakelin-King said.
